Clink & Mingle

Refunds and cancellation

Last updated: August 2026. How cancelling and refunds work on Clink & Mingle paid plans.

This English version of this policy is the legally binding version. Translations into other languages are provided for convenience only.

Cancelling

You can cancel any paid plan at any time from your account. Cancelling stops all future charges. You keep your paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for. We will email you a confirmation every time you cancel.

Our general rule

Clink & Mingle is delivered as soon as you subscribe, so payments are generally non-refundable. Cancelling stops the next payment rather than refunding the last one. The rest of this page sets out when we refund anyway.

Monthly plans

If you are on a monthly plan and you want your most recent payment back, just ask us. We will refund it, without argument and without needing a reason.

When we always refund

We will refund you in full if:

Annual plans

An annual plan is not refundable part-way through its first year. If an annual plan renews automatically, we will email you between 30 and 60 days before that renewal. If you cancel after an automatic renewal, we refund the unused part of that year, calculated to the day, and pay it within 15 days.

Once invitations are sent

On an annual plan, sending invitations is the service being delivered. Once invitations have gone out, that payment is not refundable, whether or not your event has happened yet, and whether or not you used the rest of your allowance. Monthly plans stay covered by the paragraph above.

Accounts we close for policy violations

If we close your account because it was being used in a way our Acceptable use terms do not allow, for example to send spam, advertising, or harassing or hateful messages, any refund is at our discretion. Our Acceptable use terms are part of our Terms of Service.

Goodwill

If something has gone wrong and none of the above fits, contact us anyway. We would much rather sort it out than have you unhappy.

App Store purchases

If you ever buy a subscription through Apple, Apple handles that refund, not us. Request it at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, the version that applies to you is the one published when you paid. We will tell you before any change takes effect for a plan that renews.

Your legal rights

Nothing here reduces rights you have under the consumer law where you live, including any statutory cancellation rights.
