Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2026. These are the plain-language terms for using Clink & Mingle. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
The service
Clink & Mingle is an event-planning tool: guest lists, seating charts, invitations, itineraries, and shared photo albums. We provide the tool; your event, your guest list, and everything you upload remain yours.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password private and for everything that happens under your account. You must provide a valid email address and be old enough to agree to these terms where you live. You can delete your account at any time from Account settings — this permanently removes the events you own and your data.
Subscriptions & billing
Paid plans are billed through Stripe; card details never touch our servers. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and you can cancel anytime from the pricing page or your billing settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Where a paid feature lapses, we warn you before any stored media is removed.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service: no breaking or probing it, no scraping, no sending spam through the invitation tools, and no impersonating other people or events. Invitations and share emails may only go to people who would reasonably expect to hear from you.
Guest content (photos, videos & uploads)
Organizers and their guests can upload photos, videos, names, and other content to an event. You may only upload content you own or have the right to share, and that the people pictured have consented to share.
Objectionable content is prohibited. Do not upload anything illegal, abusive, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit or exploitative, violent, or that infringes anyone's rights. Anyone can report content via /report-abuse, and organizers can remove guest uploads at any time.
We review reports and may remove content, disable share links, and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms — without notice where the violation is serious.
Liability
The service is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it reliable, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we're not liable for indirect losses (like a missed email) — our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection law.
Changes
If we change these terms we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, let account holders know by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.
